Welcome to Artistic Designs by Diane!

Diane was born and raised in Chicago. Her dream from a child was to become a nurse which she accomplished in 1975. She always had a creative side and loved to sew, draw, paint, and create artistic pieces. Throughout the years she has done custom floral designs for weddings, home decorating and as gifts for family and others. Diane met her husband Todd in  the mid 1990s and they were married in 1998.  Todd was born in Pennsylvania and was raised in the northeast  and came to the Chicago area in the early 80s.  Todd  is a middle school educator and transitioned into the administrative side of education. After a long career, Todd retired in spring 2022. Tired of the snow and ice of the Midwest, they moved to Florida that summer. They have settled in Babcock Ranch in Punta Gorda. 

During the pandemic, Diane began to explore quilting. After retiring, she began sewing and creating quilted items and floral arrangements. Wanting to share her designs Artistic Designs by Diane was born!
